		<description>Great post Chris.

The only ROI that I am 100% certain of my involvement in social media is the Relationship on Interest factor. Being genuinely interested in people and what they do and say have made me richer in terms of information, insights, knowledge and yes in relationships and friendships that are as meaningful as in real life.

Spending time on Twitter is getting harder and harder when I get busier but one thing that I make sure of maintaining are the relationships and human connections. For that alone, engaging on Twitter is well worth the time.

Cheers,

		<description>Re
&quot;In the Early Days
I spent my early days simply listening and observing how the crowds worked; how things played out in the SM revolution. My social media teenage years include moments of [business] conversation, learning from my peers and making sure that when it came to being a man I was ready to walk out into the world alone.

Once I was ready to step out and join the revolution I did so with all my heart and soul.&quot;

Chris - we met only briefly at likeminds yesterday. You came with a hearty testimonial ... your quote above resonates with me. How best to step on the SM escalator. I want to get on, just not sure about how/when to make that first step. Don&#039;t know whether you have kids or not but I remember distinctly taking my daughter on an escalator for the first time. Making that first step on/off was a new experience for her - she had a big smile once she realised she could do it herself.

Well Likeminds has inspired me to do something that has been lurking in me for a while. Just need to work out my &quot;reason why&quot; and then get on with it.

Thanks for being part of that jigsaw.

		<description>Thanks for your comment Jo. Seems we&#039;re both singing from the same hymn sheet as we&#039;re both being rewarded, financially and personally from this exciting new world we&#039;re in. I really feel that when we all talk to each other across twitter etc we learn and understand more, which allows us to progress with confidence for and with our clients.</description>

		<description>Great post :)

All I can say right now is I&#039;m too crackered from watching Tweetdeck, Retweeting, Researching, Sharing, Engaging, Talking, Learning, Growing to say more - but get this, I go to bed happy, that today, I have yet again added to my own and my clients&#039; bottom line...and I&#039;m not at all afraid to demonstrate that there indeed IS ROI in social media.

I sleep well knowing I am fostering and developing worthwhile, valuable relationships, that give back more value than any other form of networking I have ever encountered.

Be back soon when I wake up :)
