Want to hear & see a refreshing approach to social media? This is part one of my interview with Molly Flatt from 1000 heads

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with Molly Flatt (@mollyflatt) from 1000 heads. Across about an hour we had a chat about how she feels social media needs to change, modern ways for brands and organisations to communicate and generally putting the world to rights.

Here’s part one of the interview

I’d love to hear your thoughts on what Molly and I talked about.

Really inspiring, I am so passionate about social media too and this interview was really informative and entertaining, great to see someone with such energy for the job :-)

Always great to hear Molly talk about what she is doing. Inspiring to see how her passion for communication and connecting has lead her through her career to date. Might be a cliché but I think the lesson is that we should do what we enjoy, and we should throw ourselves into doing that – passion breeds success. Go Molly!

Molly – I recall a very similar conversation with you in Las Vegas last November – great to hear it again and extend upon those thoughts – looking forward to part two.

Great post Chris and thanks for bringing social media back down to it's core values Molly. I agree that the technology sometimes gets in the way; people think that 'doing social media' requires being a part of some high level techie club. In reality it's just people having conversations and sharing passions.

All these cerebral comments, what can I add? Nothing except to explain that the “M” on Molly's necklace is not for Molly, no. It is for @markofrespect.

Just thought I would clear that up for everyone.

It's true. He totally owns me.

Well that's my favourite comment of the week!
