    Hey Chris,
    So these are my key takeaways:

    I like how you start the video with a question about why Marketing departments are fearful of adopting social media. You should make it an open question on Linkedin or something :)

    Now, about Silos: Once social media is adopted and well integrated whithin coporations, it might be the right motivation for Tackle the inter-departmental silos because, everyone in the company may need to talk to each other. The message and communications with the consumers will have to be very coherent.

    I agree how Molly answers the measurement question : that is usually my answer as well. It depends on the objectives.

    All in all, thank you for introducing me to @mollyflatt ; I love her take on social media and her honesty.

    I think the question about marketing departments gets to one of the key issues we all face when trying to incorporate digital/social disciplines. Many marketing departments simply run away from us or feel they can do it alone (without any knowledge of the social arena). In my experience both are built on fear or lack of knowledge which makes it an important issue for us to confront and try and resolve.
