Now every friday I’m going to post #followfridays on my blog and give good reasons why you should follow.

here’s my six (usually five but had to recommend them all) for this week

@juliaerickson – top of my twitter list. Never too much trouble to tweet (and reply). Always interesting links and messages and a really nice person

@JuliaRosien – the happiest person on twitter [official ;) ], so let’s face it, we all need a smile sometimes and Julia is the great at helping get it back. Also has a vast range of subjects covered in tweets

@Minervity – legend on twitter. topics range from ‘design’ and ‘website layout/structure’ to social media and fun stuff. More than recommended

@NikkiPilkington – expert advice and support across all social media.

@joannejacobs – social media expert with a great website and tweets

@andysowards – another top man, with a great attitude to life and excellent tweets centred around web development and online. Always enaging and helpful.

Now every friday I’m going to post #followfridays on my blog and give good reasons why you should follow.

here’s my five for this week: -

@gemmawent – professional, engaging and intelligent with an eye for useful information and inciteful tweets. If you want to know anything about social media within the design or  architecture sector; or just want to keep up with pr/marketing/social media then FOLLOW

@volumegroup – never dull tweets and always entice you in with great hooks. Very useful to follow and brings an interesting and informative tweet style. recommended

@marcmapes - uses twitter like I think it should be used. engages in comversation and mixes tweets up with great effect

@JennaMadison - so much fun, with a pinch of  crazy & always brightens the twitter day up. Never a dull moment and its good to mix different types of people up in twitter I think…

@SharonHayes - one of the best twitterers about. Always interesting with a vast amount of subjects discussed. Always engages and is well worth a follow.

…so that’s my votes in from the @chrish10 jury. Hope you follow these good people and more next week.

You know how it goes, you spend a lot of time on the web, keeping up with news/views and comment. This always leads you to blogs. media sites et all…but why oh why do so many on line journalists (that’s all of us my friends – this is 2009, we ALL publish now) have to write a million words per article.

blog support please

A million words may well be an exaggeration, but based on some of my experiences this week I’m not that far away. I kid you not that some word counts have broken the back (and my spirit) of over 4000 words. Does anyone Read more…

Are we involved in social networking or social ‘notworking’?

twitter1

A few days ago I posted that very question on LinkedIn

As many of us move closer to our twitter/FB/linkedIn pages, are we pandering to the ‘latest thing’ or is it really going to add value to our business.
